nonostante sia solo un 5/8 è presente il terzo pin spaziatore solitamente assente in questa misura
probabile datazione 1920-1950 (dato che negli anni '60 la società Kayser Ellison & Co cambia nome associandosi con Sanderson e abbandonando la produzione di silversteel)

This razor is made from some of the finest steel manufacturer in the world, Kayser Ellison & Company's Best Sheffield Silver Steel. When I find a razor with Kayser Ellison stamped on it, I never let it pass me by! If you're not familiar with Kayser Ellison Steel, then rest assured, it doesn't get much better than this! If you want a phenomenal shaver, then look no further. This razor comes from a well cared for collection of fine antique cutlery, and it certainly shows!
Kayser Ellison merged with Sanderson's in the very late 1960s and the name changed, so no later than that. The company was founded in 1825 under a different name but not registered until 1895, when they were formerly known as Wilson-Hawksworth, Ellison & Co.
1914 - 1917 they were steel and tool makers, but concentrated on steel in 1939, so I reckon the razor is from 1939 to maybe 1950.
I think Kayser Ellison were the steel producers - many makers used their steel, eg WorldMaster, EKS, Tuckmar, and every Kayser Ellison I have seen has "Made From Kayser Ellisons..." rather than "Made By Kayser Ellison" - anyway thats my theory! After the merger with Sanderson, they still produced steels - Sandersons still make silver steel.
Alcuni Puma (il "73" ad esempio) erano in questo acciaio
The Razor is Puma 52 stating Kayser Ellison & co. Best Sheffield Silver Steel.

Altezza Lama: 5/8, decorata con la scritta "Barber's Crow" dorata ben evidente ,nonostante l'età,come anche le incisioni (dorate).La scritta risulta molto elegante.
Codolo: Dorato anch'esso,come la lama.Ha zigrinature che rendono agevole la presa e,quindi,la rasatura.
Dorso: Dorso decorato con incisioni dorate che riportano i nomi dei giorni della settimana in inglese,ben visibili.
Stabilizzatore: Assente
Manico:Plastica,con terzo pin.
Affilatura:ottima,effettuata da Altus,che ha eliminato anche qualche "chip" valutazione 10/10
Prezzo:Ottimo 10/10
Note finali:Rasoio/Rasoi facilmente gestibili sia da un principiante che da un esperto.Adatti a tutte le barbe,non troppo piccoli ma neppure troppo grandi da non poter essere gestiti anche nei punti più difficili del volto.Forme eleganti e, al contempo,essenziali si abbinano a scritte ben evidenti e sinuose nei caratteri.Ottima ergonomia e taglio deciso e delicato al contempo.Voto:10/10.Pienamente soddisfatto dell'oggetto e della persona che me lo ha venduto,con tanto di certificati,cosa che raramente accade nel mondo dei rasoi.
