ho sentito parlar molto bene di questo dopobarba classico e storico

Qualcuno l'ha provato e sa dove trovarlo?
Grazie!

Fragrantica ha scritto:Review of the Jacqueline Cochran formula, in production from 1980 - 1987:
Undeniably the template by which Creed's Green Irish Tweed was created, this formula is smoother, softer, and altogether a different fragrance than the current version by EA. It opens with a brisk lemon note, very clear and fresh, accented by a bit of galbanum. Within a minute it dries down to an extremely well-balanced violet, violet leaf, and sandalwood accord, with sweet hints of tonka. In all my years of wearing and examining fragrances and their many notes, I have only once come across a masculine drydown this sweet, green, and balanced, and that was in GIT. If, by some incredible stretch of the imagination, Cary Grant wore GIT in the 1950s or '60s, it would have smelled like J.C. Grey Flannel. This is a very specific harmony between ionones and genuine Mysore sandalwood, perfectly expressed in a forgotten fragrance.
Those Youtubers who do Grey Flannel challenge vids and make screwball faces in disgust are forgiven for sampling a bitter green chypre (the EA formula) that shares more in common with Jacomo's Silences than their beloved Creed. If they tried this formula, their collective opinion of Grey Flannel would change immediately. If you see the little J. Cochran sticker on the bottom of the bottle, and the label reads "Cologne: New York" (No "Paris"), don't think - just buy. This is the pure parfum extrait of Grey Flannel, only the second formula in the 5 formula history of this fragrance, and very likely the oldest version you'll ever see.
I'll add that while I personally prefer the J. Cochran version, I also love the EA version. It smells great, and I'll always own it and wear it. It is simply a completely different chypre, and doing direct comparisons between it and the older stuff is awkward to say the least. Jeffrey Dame, former VP of marketing for Sanofi during the Grey Flannel years (and the man responsible for adding "Paris" to Grey Flannel's label), has informed me that some Cochran bottles and Sanofi bottles contain the same juice, because bottles and boxes were saved during corporate transitions, so a bottle labeled "Jacqueline Cochran" may in fact contain Sanofi Beauty's formula, and these batch crossovers very likely continue on through the FF years and even the early EA years. This explains why the Cochran and FF version of Grey Flannel are, well . . . read on.
The French Fragrances formula: Same as the Cochran version, but with a slightly sharper top note (more galbanum-citrus). A bit easier to find, but beware the possibility of variations in this batch. By this point in Grey Flannel's history the violet note was dramatically reduced in the methylheptincarbenate formula, for what that's worth. I still smell plenty of sweet violet, although a lot of the sweetness may be attributable to coumarin. In any case, if you're familiar with earlier incarnations of the Flannel, don't expect a huge difference here.
