I collect Gillette razors, and I recently had the chance to pick up my holy grail: the 1912 King C. Gillette Deluxe Combination Set. This set is 1/1 and was engraved by Gillette’s master engraver, Federick Blank. It was never for sale, but instead Gillette used this set in advertisements to showcase their engraving abilities. The razor cap is engraved with a KCG monogram, and the razor handle and blade boxes were engraved with King C. Gillette. The brush and soap tubes were engraved with their 4 factories: Boston, Montreal, Leicester England, and Nogent France. I have been trying to get it for a long time, and luckily the seller was finally ready to part with it. Have a safe week everyone!

Oltre che la bellezza, il tutto è impreziosito dalla storia del Maestro incisore.
Infatti Frederick Charles Blank era l'artigiano della Gillette che eseguiva queste meraviglie.
Tanto che i suoi lavori sono andati a re, presidenti, magnati e dignitari vari.
