Ho acquistato da Maggard la base per i rasoi Rex, spedita dagli U.S.A. l'8 di Maggio il 20 era in dogana in Italia, da li poi ha impiegato solamente 40 giorni per arrivare a casa mia! Devo ritenermi fortunato?

Anch'io ho un ordine in corso con Maggard. Subito spedito, è arrivato velocemente all'aeroporto di Chicago, ora è lì dal 25 giugno, in attesa di essere imbarcato per l'Italia.

EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS:

Starting on July 1, the EU is making significant changes to the way VAT is collected and charged. Their goal is to force the collection of VAT on to the retailers around the world.

There will no longer be an exemption of VAT for low value parcels. Because of this, ALL parcels from Maggard Razors will be held in your country's mail systems and you will receive notices that you are required to pay VAT on your parcel. In addition, a processing fee will be charged, which will be between 5EUR and 15EUR. please keep this in mind when placing orders on our site - small orders of $20-30 might end up costing you double the value of the products.

The EU has put together a system called "IOSS" for retailers like us to streamline the VAT collection process. Because we've been too busy working on our new site, we've yet to register for the "IOSS" system. Our intention will be to get IOSS up and running on our new website by August 1.

Once we are up and running and registered with IOSS, VAT will be paid on our website during checkout (20%). In addition, we're going to be tacking on a small charge to each order due to the fact that we have to spend many hours per month with accounting, and we have to pay transaction fees on the VAT amounts that we collect. We'll be registered and submitting these funds to the EU directly, so that you will not have to do it on your end, and you will also not be subject to the additional 5-15EUR processing fee. This should mean that any parcel that has had VAT processed by us and registered in the IOSS system there will likely be even faster delivery services than usual, since they are basically cleared through customs and fees paid in advance. We'll see if that is actually the case once we're all registered and start shippping.

Please be patient with us while we get that system up and running, and I'm very sorry that the EU has chosen to do this. We value our EU customers -- there are a lot of you!

TO SUMMARIZE:

Starting July 1, all orders are subject to VAT, regardless of value (no more <EUR22 exemption)

If you order from Maggard Razors between July 1 and August 1 expect additional shipping delays, processing fees, and VAT charges in order to retrieve your parcels from your country's mail service. PLEASE ENSURE phone numbers are accurate on all orders so that you can be contacted, and we recommend larger order sizes to make the processing fees less impactful.

We are hoping to be registered with IOSS system by August 1, if things go well with our new site and we have time to figure it all out - but you're still going to be paying VAT (20%) on our website plus a small processing fee for our accounting systems and transaction fees we have to pay.

In the end, for all of our EU customers -- Importing from the USA and anywhere else outside of the EU just got considerably more expensive. We're very sorry about these changes and wish they didn't happen.

direi un bel colpo per ordini dagli Usa e, soprattutto, visto il volume sicuramente maggiore, dalla Cina.

Ordinata testa ikon X3 slant 26 gennaio ricevuta il 20 marzo, tempi di attesa maggiori a Chicago e alla dogana in Italia. Ma non ho pagato nulla di più del costo della testa sul loro sito, ormai con 22% iva e dazio doganale temo che difficilmente ordinerò ancora da loro.

Si sa nulla se Maggard si è iscritta nei registri IOSS? stessa cosa per gli altri store americani. Per quanto riguarda slyckboys store inglese non si sa nulla, nel loro sito non c'è niente, nessuna notizia sui cambiamenti delle spese doganali, mah x me si tratta di disservizio.
